Here are some facts on smoking

Everyone knows that smoking is a huge health risk. And not only for the pack a day smokers--it is unhealthy even for a one a day or four a day puffer.

Some health issues are:
lung cancer, emphysema, various lung diseases, increased risk of heart attacks and strokes, high blood pressure, increases LDL (bad cholesterol), reduces HDL (good  cholesterol), smokers are more likely to develop ulsers, heartburn, increases the risk of getting age-related cataracts and/or macular degeneration, diabetes, wrinkled skin. These are just a few issues that smoking can cause.

Some tips to help you stop smoking are:
Suck on a lime when you feel you need a smoke, chew on a piece of gum when you crave a cigarette (esp. one flavored with real peppermint), chew on a licorice stick, start drinking herbal tea (containing catnip, chamomile, hops, lobelia, or valerian), get lots of vitamin B.
